Often internal L&D professionals fall into the field by accident, maybe they were the stand out rep in the Call Center or perhaps they were just really good at training others informally. Because of this, they never received a proper education on the instructional design field.

Could you send your team members to classes? Yes. However, the Anchored ID Collective difference for Corporate IDs is that we provide the training for the department as a whole to learn together, and work together utilizing examples and situations you will actually use day in and day out.

Jumpstart Your Instructional Design (ID)

The Jumpstart Your Instructional Design (ID) Workshop will introduce you to a process that incorporates the theories, models, and tools used to create training programs. Designed for the professional Instructional Designer, this training will apply theories and models to design projects developed in a corporate environment.
Total Workshop Time: 6 Hours
Training Delivery: Virtual Instructor-Led (vILT)*

Creating an Engaging eLearning
Creating an Engaging eLearning Workshop will guide designers through techniques that can be used to develop engaging eLearning, no matter the level of experience. This workshop focuses on Articulate Storyline and/or Rise and is meant for all skill levels. This training not only provides instruction, but also provides hands-on learning by requiring learners to apply skills to the creation of their own Storyline or Rise project.

Storytelling in Learning
The Storytelling in Learning Workshop is an in-depth look at how to incorporate storytelling into learning. This training is for the instructional designer or design team that is looking for a process on how to incorporate stories into training to increase student engagement and retention.

This eLearning Accessibility training course is for eLearning developers who need to build or revise courses to meet accessibility standards such as Section 508 and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Discover how to make accessible courses while following standards for compliance as well as using best practices that help all users to successfully complete the course.

The Storyboarding Workshop is a great way to align your design team on creating storyboards for ILT, vILT, and eLearning projects. This training is for the new and seasoned designer looking for a repeatable and scalable process when it comes to creating storyboards. This workshop will focus on writing learning content, organizing information for learning, and incorporating interactions for ILT, vILT, and eLearning.

Developing Inclusive Training Solutions: A How To & Review of Your Content
This workshop is designed to focus on creating inclusive training where all learners feel a sense of belonging. In order to do that, we must address our own identities and how they show up when we are crafting our content. This highly interactive workshop features reflection activities, demonstrations, small group discussions, and group discussions. It also features the review of your current content to identify opportunities for improvement through the lens of inclusion.
After completing this training, participants will be able to:
- Describe the difference between diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility
- Name their own social identities
- Describe how their social identities and unconscious bias impacts how they design training
- Name two strategies to create inclusive training for each design element
- Assess their own training according to the design element principles
Participants will also walk away with a DEIAB Checklist to take with them to use during the development of their next training.
